The Capital Athletic Conference announced its first track & field weekly awards of the season on Tuesday and Salisbury University freshman Sarah Taylor was named the inaugural Women s Field Athlete of the Week.

The Salisbury University men s and women s track & field teams opened the 2013-14 season with their first indoor meet of the season, at the CNU Holiday Open on Saturday, hosted by Christopher Newport University.

The Salisbury University men s and women s cross country teams finished its seasons at the Mideast Regional hosted by Muhlenberg College. The men s team finished 16th out of 54 teams competing.
